Number Registration Process

All new cars numbers are assigned by National Timing & Scoring.

All car number change requests are also processed by National Timing & Scoring.

Numbers will be assigned by BMW CCA Regions.  Once a number is taken in 2 regions it is no longer available nationally and is added to the National Not Available List.  This will eventually eliminate the large number of duplications. It also allows for the use of added 1's or 0's to create unique numbers when conflicts do occur.

The Process:

1.  Check the National Not Available List.

If the number you want is listed, then you can't select that number.
Pick another number and start again with step 1.

If the number you want is not listed go to 2.

2.  Check the list of assigned numbers for the Region in which you reside.

    If the number you want is listed, then you can't select that number.
    Pick another number and start again with step 1.

    If the number you want is not listed go to 3.

3.  Submit your request for number:
